Got some sticky questions about Millennials that you want answers to?  


Well, we aren’t promising answers to all of them. However, our panel discussion on "Millennials at Work," will definitely shed insight and perspective on the tough generational challenges you're likely experiencing!


Pose your questions to, and engage in dialogue with, our panel of diverse, accomplished Millennial professionals from across the Triangle. Joining TODN for the evening are:

Our Panel


Brandi Nicole Johnson is a Project Manager on the Leadership Beyond Boundaries team at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). In this role, Brandi designs, develops and delivers custom leadership development programs, innovative capacity solutions and memorable learning products. Brandi is passionate about leadership development, inclusion and creating transformative experiences that change lives. Outside of her role at CCL, Brandi enjoys consuming food that is life changing, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She holds degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Brandi was recently named one of the Triad Business Journal's Top 40 Leaders Under 40.


Zach Abrams is the founder and Director of Tailspin Studiosan independent mobile game studio.  As director, he is responsible for all studio operations including creative direction, team management, marketing, game design and development.  In a previous life Zach worked at IBM as a performance software engineer and later in technical sales, working directly with clients along the east coast.  In what little free time he has, Zach is a professional motion graphics artist creating animations and videos for a wide range of clients.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and minor in Business Administration from Illinois State University.




Molly Demarest is the Senior Director of Operations and Finance at the American Underground, described as the "Startup Hub of the South." It offers hip office and coworking spaces, networking opportunities via organized events, and is just 1 of 7 N. American "Google for Entrepreneurs Tech Hubs!"







Casey Steinbacher, Founder of Casey’s Company, is widely recognized as a national expert in urban innovation strategies. Her company identifies and creates NEXT opportunities for communities and organizations, with a unique emphasis on place based talent recruitment and coolness that matters. She is credited with authoring the strategy that targeted entrepreneurs and Millennials as key components for the place based renaissance of downtown Durham that CNN just named the start up capital of the south. She is also a regular blogger on the topic of “Boomers and Mills…Both Can be Cool”.


Our Moderators

Krupa Patel is a Sr. Organization Development Consultant  at IBM, where she co-leads a company-wide leadership development program, focusing on organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives. Prior to joining IBM, she worked in the talent acquisition and management space at Red Hat. She holds an MS in Organizational Leadership (Quinnipiac University) and an active PHR certification. She has served on the TODN Program Committee since 2012, and has been a proud "Millennial" since sometime in the '80s!





Sarah Miller is an Organizational Development Consultant at  Red Hat, where she works on manager and leadership development, onboarding, and team effectiveness.  Prior to joining Red Hat, she spent six years at the Center for Creative Leadership, where a large part of her work focused on leadership development with millennials and cross-generational mentoring relationships.  She recently completed a certificate in OD from Columbia University.  Sarah has served on the TODN Board since 2014 and has also been a proud “Millennial” since sometime in the ‘80s.
