Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Special Interest Group (SIG) is a community with a shared interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge and learning where members cooperate to affect or produce solutions within their particular field.  TODN currently sponsors two SIGs:

Change SIG  •  Leadership SIG

Change SIG

The Change SIG is dedicated to exploring large- and small-scale change at the organizational, professional, and personal levels. It is the longest running SIG in TODN, having started in 1996.

The meetings are interactive and topics vary from discussions based on latest change technologies and books to success stories in OD interventions to 'dry runs' of big presentations on a personal or professional change topic for feedback from a group of people that want you to be your best.  See the box below for upcoming meetings.

Contact the Change SIG Chair, Susan Westbrook, about being a speaker.

The SIG meets on the 4th Friday of the month from 8:30-10:30 AM via Zoom.

Leadership SIG

The Leadership SIG, launched in June 2015, is a community committed to exploring best practices, processes and new models of leadership required in an ever changing volatile world.  The very definition of leadership and skills needed to be successful are evolving. Old models and training processes are quickly becoming obsolete at a time when the need for effective leadership development solutions is urgent.

The meetings are interactive discussions of leadership topics. The Leadership SIG facilitator is Bob Stapleton and you are encouraged to contact him if you would like to facilitate a Leadership SIG meeting.

The Leadership SIG meets once a month, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 PM via Zoom .
