Job Information

Job title
Principal & Lead Strategist, Madison N. Garcia Consulting, LLC
Bio
A Los Angeles native and transplant to North Carolina in 2018, I bring over twelve years of combined experience as a relationship-focused strategist, management consultant, and evaluator fostering cultures of emergent learning, supporting equity-centered decision-making, and serving as an integral thought partner to organizations catalyzing social change.

Through my namesake consulting practice (Madison N. Garcia Consulting, LLC), I offer expertise and coaching in the areas of organizational strategy, operations, and capacity building with an emphasis on seeding transformation and ensuring sustainability to an array of nonprofit, philanthropic, and community-based organizations across North Carolina, California, and beyond.

Until late 2022, one of my primary long-term clients was Luminare Group, a nationally recognized consulting firm providing advising on strategy, evaluative thinking, and capacity building to leaders and organizations addressing disparity and dismantling systemic and structural barriers to equity for over twenty years. In addition to serving on Luminare’s national consultant bench, I oversaw portfolio management and business development for the firm (retainer equivalent to ~.9 FTE).

The through line that runs across both my client portfolio and broader work history is the continual intersection of strategy and evaluative thinking/inquiry, purposeful centering of equity, a longstanding love for operations, and commitment to intentional relationships.

I'm a millennial Latinx third-generation immigrant, first-generation college graduate, and second-generation solopreneur.

Sample Client Subsectors:
Early Childhood Education & Care, Youth & Family Services, Health, Public Education & Policy, Postsecondary Attainment, Leadership Development & Civic Engagement, Environmental Advocacy, Grassroots Organizing & Labor/Worker-Focused Advocacy, and Arts & Culture
