Using Dreams in Coaching

This session  will give participants an understanding of what dreams tell us and how to use them in the coaching process.  They will be given tools and a hands on experience in working with their own and each other’s dreams. Each will come away with a greater awareness of what their dreams mean and the ability to use dreams safely and effectively with their coaching clients.

·      Understanding the messages that dreams convey.  

·      How dreams have impacted science, the creative arts, religion and psychology and personal growth.  

·      When and how to use dreams effectively in coaching. 

·      Emotional intelligence fostered by dream work.

·      Dreams and the creative process.

·      Active Imagination.

Peter Metzner, MA, MPA, BCC
Peter is president of Dynamic Change, Inc., incorporating dream work in life and leadership coaching and teaching Psychology at Vance-Granville Community College.  He facilitates classes on the use of dream work in the coaching process for Institute of Life Coach Training, where he completed his coaching training, as well as numerous workshops on dreams at Elon University, William Peace University, and the Center for Creative Leadership.

He will be facilitating a session on Dreams in Coaching for the upcoming ICF Global 2014 Conference-North America Midwest this June 19-21, in Cleveland, OH.
