About this event: OD practitioners are trained to facilitate, inquire, and surface complexity. These instincts are strengths. Yet there are moments when those same instincts can unintentionally get in the way of being seen or experienced as a leader.
In this session, we’ll explore the tension between facilitation and leadership through an OD practitioner lens. Participants will reflect on their default instincts when approaching challenges and examine how those instincts shape leadership presence and impact.
Through guided reflection and group dialogue, we’ll focus on patterns in how we intervene, where we hold back, and how our choices land in real organizational moments.
You’ll leave with:
A clearer read on your go-to OD instincts under pressure
Clearer decision-making about when facilitation strengthens leadership and when it quietly limits your influence
Sharper choices you can apply immediately in complex group and organizational settings
