The ability to engage employees is recognized as vital to performance and well being. This SIG discussion is stimulated by October's Unleashing the Power of Belonging, so ably led by June Mader.

We will pose some basic questions:

o Can we develop some new lines of

thinking about what engaging work

actually is, before administrative

concerns?

o Can we picture employees belonging

to the work itself, before the

organization?

o Can we imagine employee gratitude

for an organization's ability to

structure and provide rewarding work?

We need as many viewpoints as we can get! I hope to see you on November 15.
