BORN - LOVE - DIE
Trip to Africa Changed the Agenda

(8:30-10:30 - bring your own coffee/tea and snacks).

I just returned from Africa, where I thought about this program a lot. The basics are the same, just how we are will be looking at them SO . . .

Have you ever laughed and cried at the same time? Felt both sad and happy in the same moment? An odd duality can often exist in the same experience. I'm an upbeat guy, but I know I need to feel my sad emotions too.

I've been hard at work on my new book, Born - Love - Die, and it is due to be published this summer. The writing process has been exceptionally difficult. Reliving the year of my wife's
ALS journey word after word, page after page has been painful. But at the same time, there are so many good things that have come out of the experience.

Have you thought much about your legacy, both of what you are doing in the world and about your life to date?

This program will give us time and tools for both, as we  focus on these questions::

    • What are the five key elements of Martin Seligman's Theory of Wellbeing?
    • What is a framework for getting through trauma?
    • How to avoid regret at the end of your life: Learn how presence is the answer to everything.
