Leadership SIG 10/20/2021 - Death by Meetings - A meeting about meetings

Most people don’t like going to meetings. This is unfortunate because going to meetings is a primary activity for 21^st Century workers. Most meetings fall short of the intended outcomes, or worse, are a waste of time. Many of today’s leaders lack the skills necessary to conduct a productive meeting and, as a result, everyone suffers.

In this SIG we will explore:

• Why meetings are crucial to an organization’s success
  
• The importance of an organization’s culture to how meetings happen 
  
•  What does a great meeting look and feel like
  
• OD’s responsibility to promote and foster productive meetings
  

This is a rather mundane but oh so important topic. We hope you can join us.
