The Performance Playbook: How to Create a Cohesive and Transparent People Strategy

The business needs to grow, but managers are busy, employees want development and they’re all looking at you! I will walk you through how to build and operationalize a cohesive, transparent people strategy that will ensure all of your stakeholders are performing at their best.

I developed and implemented the model at The Motley Fool and am currently implementing it at Lulu.com. You will learn the framework and actionable steps on how to implement this strategy to help your people grow professionally and in alignment with your organization.

Presented by:

Erin Miller, Vice President of People and Culture at Lulu Press

Erin is a Progressive People and Human Resources leader with a passion for building environments of inclusion. I received my Bachelor’s in Business Management and started my career in sales. I turned my love of relationship-building into a successful career in people development and performance optimization. I love the challenge of turning those connections into meaningful outcomes - increased company revenue, high employee performance and workplace productivity. Sales led me to The Motley Fool in 2007 where I experienced an amazing culture. The Motley Fool has consistently been viewed as a best place to work. The belief and everyday practice in putting employees first and leading with care opened my eyes to what corporate America can (and should) be. In 2017, I was the VP of People Operations at TransLoc where we were acquired by Ford Motor Company in January of 2018. I then moved on to become Vice President of People and Human Resources at PrecisionHawk, a leader in the Drone technology industry based here in Raleigh, NC. Currently, I am Vice President of People and Culture at Lulu Press, a sustainable enterprise, that is B Corp certified and provide creators and authors the tools to publish their creations.
