Imposter syndrome is a concept describing individuals who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud."

"I have written eleven books, but each time I think, 'uh oh, they're going to find out now. I've run a game on everybody, and they're going to find me out." - Maya Angelou

Join us as Heather Pownall, Director for Business Development for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), describes what imposter syndrome is and its impact. We will explore together how we can help ourselves and others tackle it in the workplace.

Heather is passionate about helping people and organizations learn and grow. She currently leads a team that helps companies develop professional development programs for their staff.

Dinner will be provided.
