In a rapidly diversifying workplace, we will discuss what you need to know to be an inclusive, aware leader who avoids micro-aggressions. 

Discuss with Raleigh Consulting Group’s George Alwon and Francisco Chavez the intersectionality of identity and group membership in the modern workforce. People identify with groups.  Some of which are obvious and some of which not. They are unintentional and oftentimes subtle but micro aggressions have a negative impact upon those with whom we work.  And, we may never know when we are using them.

The discussion will explore:

  • The definition of micro aggressions;
  • Times when others may have violated your space and ours with microaggressions;
  • How we can personally change our patterns, so we can avoid microaggressions at work;
  • What companies can do to make others aware of microaggressions.
