Learning to Think Like A Designer

Do you like solving problems? Would you like to make sure your solutions have impact? Or do you have an idea for a new product or service and want to test its market appeal? Join us at the January TODN meeting to learn about the design process and practice human-centered design in action. This is a hands-on session, so be prepared to participate!

Presenter and facilitator of this session is Dr. Leigh Shamblin, who has more than two decades’ experience in strategic leadership for domestic and international programs in higher education, business, and international service. She currently is a professor of practice and director of the Master of Global Innovation Management in Poole College’s Jenkins Graduate School of Management. She has a doctorate in adult education from NC State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor’s in business administration from UNC-Ashville. She also hold certifications in human-centered design and social entrepreneurship.
