Bio
Dr. Fleener has been an educator and academic leader for over 40 years. She was the dean of the colleges of education at LSU and NC State and associate dean at the University of Oklahoma. After stepping down as dean at NC State, she resumed teaching and scholarship including in the areas of organizational theory, OD, training and development, foresight and futures. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association Organizational Theory Special Interest Group where she served as the Best Paper Award chair for three years. She is currently Dean and Professor Emerita at NC State University.
