Bio
Born in Raleigh, I was raised in Kinston, North Carolina, and lived all around the US before returning home to Durham, North Carolina in 2014 with my wife Amanda. Following graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill (BSIR, MPA), I worked in county and city management, and later held leadership positions in high tech, manufacturing and global consulting firms. Today, I am president of a consulting firm specializing in change management, and I serve as a sports official around the US.
My relevant skillset is large group meeting design and organization change management. I’ve helped large public and private sector organizations bring together diverse groups of stakeholders to set goals and realize positive change in their organizations and communities. I’ve leveraged these skills and experience in client settings, as a representative on a city neighborhood council and as part of a team for improving the court system in a large Midwestern county.
