June Mullaney Mader, Ph.D., is enjoying her “second career” developing and delivering customized organizational and leadership solutions – meeting facilitation, workshops, strategic planning, new team start-ups, skill-building and training, established team “recharging”, and 1:1 coaching - to a wide variety of client types in the public and private sectors.
June has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GSK) which has spanned roles from project team leader to global VP. She has led large line organizations as well as numerous cross-functional, global matrix teams on both the R&D Product Development and Commercial/Operations sides of the business.
June’s strong track record in conceptualizing, building, and optimizing teams and organizations is characterized by her expertise in strategic planning, change management, and operational effectiveness. Having been involved in several mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale re-engineering projects, she is adept in delivering the financial targets of a business case as well driving the focus on the human elements related to selection, appointment, development and retention of talent to achieve the desired outcome. Most recently, June has established two successful Shared Service organizations. June’s relevant experience of delivering process improvement, measurable productivity gains, and increased staff engagement provides an invaluable perspective of the challenges facing leaders and teams today.
In her career, June has actively mentored more than a dozen technical professionals. Her passion for catalyzing the realization of individual and organizational potential is supported by certifications in Coaching and Lean Sigma.
June received her BA with Honors in Chemistry from Colgate University and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Duke University. Her successful career has been profiled in Working Mother magazine’s “trailblazers” series, “Watch the Stars”.
